We sat down with the builder, described the house we wanted and they built it. This time we made arrangements for on "open floor plan" with the kitchen, break fest nook and the family room arranged so that when the wife was in the kitchen she was aware of what the family and guests were doing. As with the 1st house, the 2nd was designed as a 3 car garage, but with ample space for a work shop and able to park 4 cars.
