Cohousing is a type of community where neighbors intentionally know each other - both for fun and to collaborate on running the community together. And together, we can collaborate on projects (like gardening) and combine resources to make things happen we might not be able to on our own (for example, we were able to install solar panels and work with a local garden for CSA and compost opportunities). In addition to the private, 1st floor, ~1300 sqft unit with patio, the residents will share common spaces - including a large rooftop deck, kids play room, workshop, and great room - with the other 19 households. The condo-like community is located in Manchester, just a few blocks away from the river, pedestrian bridge, garden, playground, and a short ride to downtown. COVID is putting a damper on some community events (like dinners together a few times a week), but we are making do with rooftop and outdoor gatherings and ensure we are following safe and healthy practices.
