First built in the 1870 as a shotgun house with 4 rooms off a central hall, two chimneys, and a dirt basement. In 1910, a second floor and a Victorian facade was added. In 1926 the facade and roof were changed to a then-popular Dutch Colonial type. By the 1970s the house had jerry-built additions. was chopped into 6 single-room apartments and went downhill. In 2004 the roof and all walls were redone and an entirely new back addition was added with updated kitchen and bathrooms.
