    This cute little home is a wonder of efficiency. It is extremely inexpensive to maintain and the renovator used best-in-class materials and systems when fixing up this home in 2013/14. The kitchen has marble tile counter tops with beautiful cherry cabinets. The long-leaf pine floors have been refinished, and although showing much patina from years of use have a warm buttery glow. The heating system was updated in 2010 to a 97% efficiency gas FHA system. The bathroom has been completely redone with porcelain tile, glass shower doors and spacious shower (all tile/glass - no fiberglass panels). The home uses a well with a filtration system and has a septic tank/field out back. All windows have been replaced with highly efficient units. Although the home does not have central air conditioning, it is easily cooled with a 30k BTU floor unit in the Family/Living room or window units. Energy and upkeep expenses have been brought to a minimum to the point where a few solar panels could remove this home from the grid, if desired. The gardens around the property include a shed and many beds to plant flowers and vegetables. The owners prefer to park their car under the spreading maple tree out front on the lawn and street parking is available in front of the house as well. The back yard is an oasis of gardens and a patio. As this property is well above sea level and half way between Cape May and Wildwood, it does not require flood insurance and in-fact has never, ever flooded in it's entire life. The home sits about 3.5 feet off of the ground and has a sandy-floored crawl space to access the home's systems.
