In the heart of Madrona, 1 block from the park and 2 from coffee and pastries, the Mini-Compound sleeps up to four guests and provides approximately 1,500 square feet of indoor and outdoor space, including: A private lower-level apartment A separate detached studio located about 10 feet away A private, gated outdoor lounge space, and private driveway A greenhouse and garden, full of raspberries, flowers, grapes, and fruit trees The space Please note: this is not an entire-house rental. The Mini-Compound offers a unique combination of indoor and outdoor spaces, so we encourage guests to review the full description, photos, amenities, and reviews to get a complete picture of the property before booking. THE MAIN APARTMENT (800 sq ft) This cozy downstairs apartment features a studio-style bedroom with a luxurious king bed, a comfortable Haden Urban sofa bed, kitchenette, breakfast nook, laundry area, and a bathroom with heated floors. (Please note: If you're on the taller side, i.e. over six feet, be prepared to duck in a few places in the main apt.) The kitchenette is equipped with a refrigerator, mini-dishwasher, microwave, toaster oven, Instant Pot, slow cooker, air fryer, rice cooker, stick blender, and food processor. (Please note there is no cooktop.) A large-capacity washer and dryer are provided for your exclusive use. THE DETACHED STUDIO (375 sq ft) Located approximately 10 feet from the apartment, the detached studio provides additional living, working or sleeping space. It includes a twin bed, a Haden sofa bed, a large work table, books, games, instruments, and room to spread out. Couples, families, friends, and business travelers all tend to use the studio differently - as additional sleeping space, a workspace, a place to gather, or simply a quiet retreat of their own. Please note: the studio does not have a bathroom. The Mini-Compound's one bathroom is located in the main apartment, approximately a 10-second walk away. OUTDOORS Enjoy your own private outdoor lounge space, off-street parking, and a tranquil 13-foot greenhouse filled with herbs, and tomatoes. In season, we also have raspberries, grapes, apples, and plums for you to pick. We provide everything you need, including: Linens, Shampoo, Conditioner, Body Wash, Hairdryer, First-aid kit, Iron and Ironing board, Washer + Dryer, Detergent, Dishes, Pots, Pans, Olive oil, Spices, and a stacked coffee bar with caff and decaf pods, Stevia, Demarra sugar cubes, and milk frother. The Neighborhood Madrona is a beloved Seattle gem. Just a 2-minute stroll to 34th Street brings you to yoga and pilates studios, boutiques, a seafood market, Red Cow by Ethan Stowell, Cafe Soleil, Vendemmia, and other fantastic local spots. Outdoor lovers will appreciate the nearby trails and breathtaking views of Lake Washington. Pets: We love dogs, and they are absolutely allowed subject to approval. If you have a dog, please let me know before you book. We cannot allow dogs who are anxious and will be left alone. Bringing dogs without prior communication will mean your booking is subject to cancellation. Due to allergies we do not accept cats. Guest access Guests have exclusive access to the driveway, the outdoor lounge area, the apt, the greenhouse, and the guesthouse. Other things to note The apt is a basement MIL, and thus it is slightly quirky, but the space is cozy and has what you need. If you are 6' or over, there are a few places where you will need to duck your head. No Drugs, Smoking/Vaping, e-cigarettes, anywhere, inside, or outside within the property environment (backyard, garden, lounge area). If you are a heavy smoker, or you vape, this property is not a good fit. The rent is all-inclusive. Month to month. One, three, and six month leases considered. Cleaning fee: $180/month.
