Excellent location! Right off the highway, and not too far from the lake. I would say it’s primarily the land that you’re purchasing, the home was built in 1965. There was one large room behind the carport that was added on in the 80s, but the home is falling apart. Several people have looked at it and told me they believe it is salvageable, but it would cost a lot of money. I’m thinking it would probably be more cost-effective to tear down and rebuild… lots of trees towards the back of the property. There was a small pond that is mostly dried up now and has cattails growing out. There are two smaller storage sheds on the property. The yard and the pasture are currently overgrown and needs some love… the ceiling in several of the rooms is falling down. The property really does have a lot of potential. Unfortunately, I just don’t have the time or the money to do anything with it.There is a fireplace. It’s really best to just go see the property. This was my grandparents house and they lived in it since they built it in 1965. No central heat / AC, window units, and there is a large propane tank on the side of the side of the home.
