This household has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The open room that we are looking to fill shares a wall with the living room. It is across the hall from the guest bathroom, which is a shared bathroom with one other housemate. About the area: The house is on a side street off of Aurora, and is walking distance from the E Line and the 40, as well as Saar's Super Saver and the AMC. Furthermore, we are in close proximity to Greenwood Ave and Holman Rd. Also within walking distance is QFC, Trader Joes, Fred Meyer's, North Star Diner, Chocolati, The Monkey Grind, and more! About us! As stated above, we are two thirty-year-old fems who work early morning hours (around 5 am to early afternoons), so we usually have quiet hours starting at 7:30 pm. Also sharing the space are two cats and a one-year-old husky mix (more about pets below). Occasionally, we host friends for dinners and movie nights (nothing too crazy), and even have friends/family from out of town visit for extended stays. In such instances, we are sure to communicate and make sure every housemate is fine with any extra people in the household. Furthermore, as a dog walker, I am sometimes asked to board dogs (very rare, but happens), which I always make sure to communicate with my housemates about and ask if it is alright with everyone before finalizing any plans. But more often than not, the atmosphere in the household is very low key and peaceful. Ideally, our new housemate would be open to spending time with us when our schedules allow for it, but this is not expected. We are respectful of everyone's need for quiet and downtime, and hope our new housemate is as well. Pets: In regard to pets, both current housemates have pets, which amounts to one dog and two cats. We prefer not to add any more animals to the space, but we are open to reviewing each pet on a case by case basis. Keep in mind, a big dog with a lot of energy will most likely be denied, but we may be able to accommodate a housemate with a small and/or relaxed, older dog, or another cat. And we will probably want to meet the pet before making any decisions. Ideal candidate Our ideal candidate would be a single queer fem over thirty-years-old with no pets who cleans up after themselves. Our household is often kept neat and organized. We empty and load the dishwasher every day, and sweep and mop about once a week (if not more). We utilize a chore chart for all shared tasks, so our preferred housemate would be able to keep up with any household chores. Finally, communication is held to the utmost importance in our home, and an ideal housemate is someone respectful of our early morning schedules, and is comfortable communicating and collaborating in all areas relating to the home. No smoking inside.
