Gulf County allows RV's to be placed on individual lots. The lot only is for sale. You can set up your RV on the lot under the pole barn. The lot has water, electrical, and sewer connections, even has a 200 amp. electrical service. Lot is 100 X 50 feet. Lot is located three blocks from the Gulf of Mexico at Beacon Hill. The real story is the beach and yes, the wind! I have lived on this lot since 2003, and would like to share the story of the Beacon Hill area. Most beaches just look out at the ocean but, here at Beacon Hill, we look out at the ocean and a beautiful cape, Cape San Blas, boasting the amazing CSB State Park where you can fish, boat, shell, and just walk the secluded beach for miles. Beacon Hill is one of the most secluded beach communities in Florida. Located in the Florida Panhandle and boasting the most beautiful white sugar sand beaches on earth, this little community is just East of Mexico Beach and just West of Port Saint Joe, Florida. The water is a beautiful blue green, clear, clean, and the beach has beautiful sea oat covered dunes. Many great restaurants are just minutes away in historic Port Saint Joe and in Mexico Beach. You will love shopping at, yes, the Piggly Wiggly in PSJ. I know, it sounds quaint but this store is huge and full of the most amazing collection of rare finds such as unusual spices for seafood, a great deli/bakery, and the produce, well, don't think the seclusion means you can't get groceries. So much is available including the popular Blue Water Outrigger with an amazing selection of fishing tackle and clothing and shoes for the beach. Beacon Hill is a golf cart community! There are many miles of seldom traveled streets accessible by golf carts from this lot. The beach is just a few blocks away, just a golf cart trip away. Ownership of property in Gulf County gives you access to drive on the beach at designated entry points at the Cape with a permit. Shelling is great there as well as at Crooked Island just a few miles away and made accessible by Tyndall AFB. If you like the big city life, Panama City is just 20 miles away and just a little further is the famous Panama City Beach with night life and amazing 5 star restaurants and the famous Pier Park shopping complex. Also, it's just a short trip East of Beacon Hill to historic Apalachicola with it's famous seafood and amazing shops and restaurants. We like to make a boating day trip through Lake Wimico and the Intercoastal and down the Apalachicola River to the port city of Apalachicola. There is free boat parking at the city boat park then, you can walk through the historic streets and great shops, eat lunch, and head back. Another reason we love it here at Beacon Hill is the climate! In the Summer when it is in the 90's inland, we enjoy a cool breeze with low 80's. In fact, the temperature is moderate year round allowing citrus to thrive. Be sure to plant Satsuma trees, grape fruit, and Meyer lemon bushes for fresh fruit off the tree. Did I mention fishing? That's great here too with salt and fresh water close by as well. To top it all off, you can take your dog (on a leash) to all beaches in Gulf County! If you're looking for a great place to live, look no further than Beacon Hill, Florida. Lot is large enough for a home and there is room to park an RV with the home.
