We're moving out of state, so we're looking for someone to take over our lease (as soon as April 1, but April 17 or May 1 could also work) through the end of the current lease term on July 22, 2021. Thereafter, if you desire, you'll be able to lease the apartment directly from Mondial. This luxury River West apartment boasts the following features and amenities: - Southern/western exposure with 14ft+ ceilings - Panoramic views of downtown Chicago and the Fulton-Randolph Market District (see the photos) - Floor to ceiling windows (tons of light) - Granite countertops - KitchenAid appliances (refrigerator, double oven, dishwasher, microwave, garbage disposal) - Hardwood floors - In-unit washer/dryer (which the building is currently in the process of upgrading) - 30 x 5.5 ft west-facing balcony (amazing for sunsets) - 24/7 doorman - Package room and package concierge machine - Very pet-friendly ($50 per month pet fee) - Garage parking available ($250 per month per car) - Walking distance to the CTA Blue Line at both Chicago/Milwaukee/Ogden and Grand/Milwaukee/Halsted - Rooftop community space with multiple grills - Workout room - Bike storage room - Gated outdoor dog run - Indoor dog wash and many other great amenities. "West Loop has its gritty urban hipster vibe. Old Town is all peace, love and neighborhoodiness. And then there's Lakeshore East with its enviable access to greenspace. I love'em all, but the small and mighty neighborhood of River West has the most practical superpower of them all: LOCATION! Close to the heart of downtown, but just outside of the gridlock, this neighborhood's location gives you the convenience and fun of downtown living without the stress of downtown living." A few things to note. First, the address of our apartment at Mondial is 910 W Huron St., Chicago, IL 60642, but to list it on Zillow we had to use the Superior address (which is the north side of the building). That's because Mondial's property management staff (they suggested we use the Superior address) has control of the "910 W Huron St" address on Zillow. Second, to qualify for the sublease, you'll have to apply directly with the building's leasing staff via Mondial's website. Mondial requires at least one person 18 years or older to apply. There is a $65 one-time application fee per applicant (this is required to pull the applicant's credit history, no information will be shared with us regarding an applicant's credit). When you apply, make sure to note that you are interested in Unit 1401. Once approved by the building, you will work directly with the building's property management and maintenance staff on any apartment-related issues. No security deposit is required, but there is a $400 non-refundable move-in fee that is payable to the building upon lease signing.
