A family owned business since the early 1950's. Alwoods West Side Grocery was indicative of small town neighborhood grocery stores. Located near where the county fairgrounds is today, people drove past Alwoods coming and going into Black River Falls, over the years things happened and the store was moved to its present location, which is where another well-known neighborhood grocery once stood. With a name like Alwoods, it has to be good.
