My wife and I built this home in 1977 on a 1.143 acre lot that we purchased from a neighbor for $10,000 in 1976. We have been the only occupants of this property from the time that it was built. In the Zillow sales history it shows that this house was sold in July 2002 for $22,860. This is inaccurate! The transaction in July of 2002 was to purchase an additional 1.691 acres of property adjoining our home at the rear. This increased our total lot size to 2.83 acres. In addition to the split level home described here, we constructed a 2 story, 4 car garage on the lower part of the property in 1990 at a cost of $40,000.
