We have a lovely Spanish style ranch home situated on 8/10 of an acre with mature landscaping and trees, including a pair of 40 ft. tall Canary Island Date Palm trees overlooking our backyard and deck! We have a long sloping paved driveway with parking for seven vehicles. My husband spends many an hour in his workshop/shed that was built (detached) to match our home. Over the years we’ve made many improvements. In 2013, my husband built the beautiful wooden rail fencing that runs the entire top length of our property and it is now covered in pink bougainvillea. A few years later we planted 3 Jacaranda trees lining that fence and they are simply gorgeous today! In 2016 we added a new HVAC system plus attic insulation. We had our property completely fenced, with additional fencing separating the backyard with three locked gates for complete privacy and security (2017). All of our front landscaping has been redone to include zero-scaping with drought-tolerant plants, artificial turf on 2 levels, professional automatic irrigation and a rain catchment system (2018). And in June of 2019 we added Solar! With 38 panels and two back-up batteries we never even feel the “rolling blackouts!” Recently we rebuilt our deck and completed 2 new retaining walls in the backyard. We are located on a private easement with only nine homes and no through traffic. Our home is truly a gem!
