    What's special

Designed by Delano and Aldrich and built in 1907, 925 Park is the oldest grand apartment house on the avenue. It was the first of many lavish apartment buildings to be built after the electrification of the railroad replaced the smoke and fumes of the steam locomotives. This apartment has been completely renovated, but maintains the prewar elegance of the building. On the first floor, the formal dining room, living room with fireplace, and library with fireplace are separated by beautiful pocket doors. The rooms open to each other and provide generous space for large gatherings. The renovated kitchen has a dining area and a built-in office. There is a powder room on this floor. On the second floor are 5 bedrooms, 4 full baths and a new laundry with Miele washer and dryer. The master bedroom has a fireplace, a large bath with tub and steam shower, and extensive closet space. There are new Panorama windows and through-wall air conditioning throughout the apartment. In addition, there is a music system with speakers built-in on the first floor. The apartment has good light, primarily faces south onto 80th Street and also has some views over townhouses to the east. A basement storage bin transfers with the apartment. The building is pet friendly.
