Welcome to Mt robbie the epicenter for energy independence in the united states The home itself is a dilapidated, falling in (but safe and dry) iconic establishment from the days of old. In about 2005 a cover up remodel was preformed and the online card was built from pictures and the condition about 1 year after the remodel. Old pictures are still up but that is not been the true condition of the house ever. The house is single banded, there are no subfloors and much of the house is not insulated. I love it so much!! there was black mold on 100% of the 1st story inside the walls when I moved in but all the water has been taken care of. the electrical system was replaced in 2017 and the pluming was updated in 2019. The house is more than likely a tear down and rebuild scenario. The house was neglected and vacant for about ten years previous to my ownership. For right now its a great home though!!!! internet is an impossible accomplishment out here and cell is worse. the closest hospital is 45ish minutes away. Every local in the area is incredibly resistant to outsiders if they believe that you pose a threat to their lifestyle. The sheriffs office keeps the area virtually crime free which is wonderful! If the money is available the dot maintains the roadways very well. In 8 years I have only had 2 or 3 power outages which is also wonderful. while the house is poor condition ive managed to carve miles of trails across the street. It is truly a paradise. My long term plans include a new atypical small house across the street and I then tear down the house and store, then build a replica of the store where the house is.
