This price is as low as it goes...it goes off the market again if there are no takers. We have hired an electrician to replace the old wire and gable wiring, and the house is now up to code and passed inspection. ($8,000.00) and paid a roofer to attend to some shoddy areas left by the previous one. ($1,500.00) There are two, antique ceiling fans, and the living room, library, and master bedroom all have been pre-wired for them, with a separate switch beside the lights. The house was built in The Craftsman style (in 1920) by the same family who owned the first operating saw mill in the county, so it is sturdy as a rock, and has never had termite damage. Flooding will never be an issue, as the house sits on one of the highest elevations in the county.
