This beautiful first floor apartment was completely renovated in 2017. It features exposed brick, hardwood floors, central air, ceiling fans, plenty of closet space, and in unit laundry. The kitchen is open to the living room with granite counters, dishwasher, built in microwave, and a gas stove. Landlord pays water and trash. Tenant pays gas & electric. There is on street parking. This building was built in the 1800s in Pittsburgh's historic South Side. The management company bought the building in 2017 and completely renovated it to the brick. All plumbing, electric, drywall, HVAC and flooring was replaced. All kitchens and bathrooms were remodeled. The apartment is a block from Carson Street and just a few blocks from South Side Works. Restaurants, cafes, and shopping (REI, ALDI, etc.) are all within walking distance. The apartment also has excellent access to public transit and there are beautiful bike paths nearby. There's also a POGOH station (Pittsburgh's excellent bike and e-bike rental program) just a few hundred yards from the apartment. Parking is on-street, and renters are able to get a permit from the city that will let you park overnight / for unlimited time. I find that it's always easy to find a parking spot, and usually can find one that steps away from the apartment. PET-FRIENDLY: The property is pet friendly with a two-animal maximum, and the management company does not charge any additional rent or any fees whatsoever for animals. There are no breed or weight restrictions. However, proof of rabies vaccination is required, as are city licenses for dogs -- easy to get and inexpensive. Smoking is not permitted. The management company, Costello Management is excellent -- they're super well rated on Google Maps-- and highly responsive to repair requests. I currently have Verizon Fios (Fiber / super high-speed) Internet at the apartment. Because the unit is already wired for Fios, you'll need is a router from a Verizon store (and to set up month-to-month service) and you're good to go.
