Jacaranda Lakes is enclosed but not gated (there is one small gated area called The Enclave, but our house is not in it). There is a wonderful small park in the subdivision with jogging / walking trail, 2 tennis courts, playground, and restrooms. Many homes are on water (artificial lakes). Subdivision is approaching 25 years old; newer homes would have smaller lots and be located much farther west, but would have an additional bathroom and garage space. Homes in subdivision are generally well kept up. Relatively low HOA fees. Good for families.
