About a 2 mile stretch of sand in-between Plaice Cove and North Beach (starts just north of North Beach, but only connects at very low tide). About a mile and a half south of the Beach Plum. Available for rental any time after Oct 30th. Unit #3 (of 5) is one of three cottages in the back of the property which looks over the yard. There is a covered porch, as well as a side brick sitting area. Property also has a main duplexed beach house. All tenants are year-round. Tenants are a cooperative group and share a nice yard with an outdoor shower. There are areas to grill, a picnic table, and storage for paddle and surf boards. Unit #3 is relatively new with new in unit washer/dryer installed late 2023, as well as a new dishwasher and microwave. There is off street parking. Utilities are quite low, averaging about $100 a month annually (about $60 in summer, up to $200 in winter depending on preferences of temp). Tenants tend to have long stays on this property, current tenants were there 6 years. 1 year lease which will renew May to May after the winter. Rent will remain unchanged in up-coming annual lease, 2025/2026 Utilities are very reasonable-Unitil supplies electric and gas of the street which averages about $100 per month (more in summer, less in winter). If a pet is involved they must pass inspection and there is a pet agreement-i.e. poop patrol, use of leashes and use of crates when pet is left alone. Background check, 2 references (employer and past landlord) and credit check are required. These can be discussed. Off street parking for 1 car, a second car can be parked close by. Non-smoking. Unit must remain well cared for. 2 keys provided and should be returned at conclusion of stay.
