We custom-built this house specifically for our family, and what we love most is how perfectly it flows for daily life and hosting. We designed the second floor so we could be on the exact same level as the kids, which made bedtimes and early mornings so much easier. The extra-deep kitchen island quickly became the absolute center of our home, it’s where homework gets done and breakfast happens every morning, and the hidden walk-in pantry is a detail we never stopped loving. We love to entertain, and this layout makes it effortless. The lower level has been the ultimate retreat for indoor get-togethers and movie nights, but the backyard is where we really love to host. The large concrete patio and covered deck have been the perfect setup for our summer cookouts and get togethers. Sitting out there looking at the protected wetland makes you forget you are even in a neighborhood. The raised garden boxes have been amazing for growing our own vegetables, zinnias, and cosmos, and watching the kids run around the cedar playset is something we’ll always cherish. We built this home to create incredible memories for our family, and we are so excited for another family to come in and make their own.
