It was not put into the City of Fairbanks tax records until 1943. The home was originally located at the corner of Illinois Street & Minnie Street, where the Chevron Gas Station sits today. This home was orignally part of the Fairbanks Exploration Gold Company; it was the bookkeepers home. In 1970 the house was moved to its current location on Baranof.
