The lake association allows only electric motor boating which results in one of the cleanest and tranquil lakes in the state. A very beautiful place to relax at any time of year. Fall foliage is especially beautiful! Enjoy spectacular views of the lake from the open concept living room, kitchen and dining room. Relax with a cup of coffee in the large swivel glider chairs on the large deck as the sun rises. Go for an early morning walk or bike ride around the quiet scenic lake, or just sit by the water and take it all in. Fishing is excellent and can be done right from the yard or the dock. The lake is stocked with fish every spring. In winter, you can ski at any of the three local ski areas (within 30 minutes) or enjoy ice fishing and skating right in your back yard. In addition to all the different ways to enjoy the lake, there are also hiking trails, vineyards for wine tasting, award-winning restaurants, antique malls and shops all within 10 minutes. For those who like to golf, a public golf course is located approximately 8 minutes away. Several stores are within 5 minutes including Walmart, CVS, Target, Panera, Stop and Shop and more!
