Grandview Cabin is a short walk to Woodland Creek and its swimming holes, 5 minutes drive to Phoenicia with shops, restaurants and vintage stores, 20 minutes drive to Woodstock with its legendary music venues and great restaurants and shopping, 30 minute drive to Hunter Mountain and Belleayre ski resorts and the quaint town of Tannersville. All this is just a 2 1/2 hours drive from New York City. The Cabin is the perfect retreat for an individual, a couple, a small family or a group of friends. It has 2 cozy bedrooms, a full bath with tub shower, an open plan living / diving area and updated kitchen. It has a beamed vaulted ceiling, hardwood floors and a Yotul wood stove. The many windows and large open deck with a propane grill and teak table and chairs allow guests to enjoy dramatic Catskill Mountain views in every direction. A fire pit surrounded by Adirondack chairs at the side of the cabin lets you enjoy the outdoors to the fullest. The Cabin has 3 ductless heat pump that heat and air condition the whole cabin, a propane hot water heater, a drilled well and a full septic system. Decorated with Adirondack, cabin and farmhouse furnishings, Grandview Acres is a perfect sanctuary from the noise and distractions of urban life. Grandview Cabin is available for lease for a minimum of 1 month as required by the Town of Shandaken. Longer leases are encouraged. Both one month's rent and a security deposit equal to one month's rent are due on or before the lease is signed. Renter reimburses landlord for utilities, garbage fees, internet, seasonal pest control and a one-time cleaning fee during the lease period. All price ranges are approximate and may vary seasonally and with changes in the cost of supplies and labor. Copies of monthly invoices will be provided for reimbursement. Landlord pays seasonal landscaping and snow plowing. A refundable pet deposit is required if a pet is allowed.
