Best neighborhood in downtown San Jose! NAGLEE PARK Neighborhood 99 S 14th Please note the photographs in this ad are of several studios that are available at the mansion. There are currently four studios available. Do you want a friendly neighborhood in downtown? Naglee Park is it! Naglee Park is home to Congresswoman Zoe Loftgren and former Vice Mayor Cindy Chavez. Naglee Park is a family friendly neighborhood with lots of joggers and a coffee bagel shop where neighbors sit under umbrellas reading the paper. In Naglee Park these are mostly single family homes and not apartment buildings for a real neighborhood feel. There is a fair bit of good news because of where you live. You are not in high density housing! You can keep 6 feet away in a building with 1. fewer apartments and 2. no over-crowding within the apartments themselves. Those folks in NYC are in some grave difficulty because of their high density planning. You are in wonderfully old construction with easy open windows, lots of light and not new construction which can be quite air-stuffy. You do not share common air inside your apartment with other apartments much like the new high-rises central air systems and you have substantial control over your own living environment to keep yourself health. You live in downtown with lots of walk-able streets and parks to get outside and enjoy the fresh air. Summer is here! And you have a mom & pop management style so that you do not have to deal with complex corporate relationships. This is NOT high density high rises and not over crowded housing and not new construction with stuffy circulation. The air flow is private and the air is not shared with neighboring apartments through common heating ducts. The neighborhood is perfect for walking and working from home. AT the Naglee Mansion there are several cozy studio apartments on the 1st and 3rd floor. Two apartments have private entrances, and several have bay windows in the main room, and all have full kitchen; With high Victorian ceilings, and laundry onsite. Current residents include: high school teachers, attorney, IBM, and other high tech folks enjoying a quiet non-smoking environment. Naglee Park is an easy/enjoyable walk to downtown San Jose. Security deposit is the same as rent and we do not ask last month's rent. Cat as pet is possible, $45/mo. additional for cat. Photos of Williams Street Park on South 16th, 5 blocks away. Utilities not included No shared bathrooms or kitchens. Nothing shared but laundry room and parking lot.
