Snowfall can make for a great opportunity to drive the road to cut elk, deer, or moose tracks. The Deep Creek drainage is steep country, so using the provided maps to plan stalks using logging roads and minimal elevation gain is important. Use the Grave ATV/Jeep trail to set up for a great downhill hunt. Have a friend drop you off on the top of the ridge and hunt downhill to the road or camp. The cabin is cozy and is designed to hold 4 bunk beds, 3 twin and 1 full bed. A propane heater is used to heat the cabin. A 5th wheel or camper could be towed to the property during times of little snow. In the summer, this is the perfect escape for the family. Ride ATV’s on the road, pick huckleberries, cook over the campfire, enjoy great views of the Mission Mountains and Deep Creek mountains, star gaze, or just enjoy the peace and quiet.
