Twin Knobs 1 is a historically explored diamond-bearing lamproite property. The available exploration archive includes bulk-sampling records, diamond-recovery information, test-pit maps, drill logs, geological descriptions, magnetic interpretation and recommendations for additional work. The property is immediately associated with the same unusual Pike County volcanic district that includes Arkansas's Crater of Diamonds State Park. This offering is unusual because the exploration case is not based solely on geophysics or an inferred volcanic target: diamonds were recovered from material sampled from the Twin Knobs 1 lamproite, and later drilling documented lamproite at numerous locations and substantial depths.
