Nestled along the historic South Grand River, tucked in the heart of the central Missouri flyway, lies this incredible 114.4 acre tract. For the waterfowler, you’ll be fired up to see the 15 acre floodable corn field, multiple flooded timber holes, natural sloughs and 2 blinds already in place. Tucked between Settlers Ford, Truman Lake, Montrose Lake and the Big Creek/Grand River corridors, cold November/December mornings are certainly going to be eventful and full of greenheads. There are 2 options for flooding the farm/impoundments. There is a pump ramp with excellent water access to pump right out of the river or in a wet year catch the water coming down the old river channel from the north. Either way, water will be consistent and accessible. For the whitetail hunter, you’ll love the layout of the farm. Easy access to both Redneck blinds, multiple foodplot locations, pinch points along the river and stands of huge mature timber, this farm packs a strong whitetail punch. One of my favorite features of the farm is the 700 yard long sendero/wide open road along the river with a Redneck blind in place. Talk about an incredible spot to spend a fall morning, watching the world come to life. An added bonus is the turkey population in this area and spring turkey season will not disappoint. Great access is provided by blacktop Highway K with gravel drive and locked gated entrance in place. A 20’ storage container is located near the entrance making it ideal to store your UTV, decoys, and gear. Pull in, grab your gear and go hunt.
