There's large windows throughout for plenty of natural light. And there's a gas monitor and wood stove to keep you toasty warm in the winter months. The upstairs features two large bedrooms one with a large walk in closet, and an extra storage area at the top of the stairs. Water is pumped up from the lake into a 100 gallon storage tank and fed through a an on demand hot water heater and used at the kitchen sink and the pop up shower out back. Cabin has minimal Pex plumbing and is easy to winterize. This lovely cabin sits on 4.97 acres on Susitna Lake close to the Chanel between Lake Louise and Susitna and is surrounded by State land so there's no neighbors. The outbuildings include the original cabin that is currently being used as a storage shed, an ice shanty, and an out house. Cabin is turnkey and comes with many extras. 1000 watt generator and 3000 watt Yamaha generators are staying with property. Lots of plumbing fixtures, tools, spare parts, tote sled with a bunch of lumber and 3 100 lb propane tanks are staying. Also, there are several more sections of the dock that can be put out. This is a remote dry cabin. The only way to access the cabin is by boat, snow machine and possible by floatplane, buyer to verify. Susitna Lake is connected to Lake Louise through a channel. It's approx. 10 miles across Lake Louise to Susitna, then you can continue through Susitna to Tyone Lake, then on to the Tyone River. This lake system is located 3.5 hours east on the Glenn Highway from Anchorage. Lake Louise Road turn off is approx. 30 miles before Glennallen. Roads are maintained all year. The lakes feature amazing fishing, possible hunting depending openings, and almost 200 miles of trails for winter riding and skiing.
