It is located 3 miles from Sitka in Southeast Alaska. Incredible ocean views from every foot of shoreline. This spectacular island is 1.5 acres. It is one parcel, which is rare with deep water moorage, a protected bay and the property is heavily treed - it is literally a lush rainforest. There are several building sites ready for your dream home with a small cabin already built in the middle of the island. The dock system was completed in 2017. The cabin was completed in 2018, it's very liveable and comfortable! With an approximately 8 x 14 "View Room". It has a metal roof, vinyl siding, windows and floors. There is no well (islanders in Southeast use rain for their water supply), we have a water catchment system using gutters on the roof and a water tank. We have a sink in the kitchen along with a toilet and shower in the bathroom. There is a propane refrigerator and kitchen range. The generator shed was completed in 2018. It is on the pier off the dock, and contains a 20k generator (large enough to run your new dream house) This island is paradise for the person who loves the outdoors. In our immediate area we have kayaking, whale watching, fishing, and hunting. The wildlife you can watch from the island includes eagles, otter, whales and sea lions.
