To reduce energy needs, exterior walls filled with open-cell foam insulation were built by staggering 2x4 studs along 5 1/2" wide top & bottom plates, thus reducing thermal bridging. The vaulted roof was also filled with water based open cell foam which lends higher R-values per inch than other insulation types. Be sure to ask for a full feature sheet.
