This is a heavily forested three acre parcel in one of the best sections of Orchid Land! It has easy access off Volcano Hwy 11 using Olaa Rd which is paved; then at the T intersection make a left, staying on pavement; then make a right on 40th which is also paved all the way to Napua, then make a left on Napua and then it is just a very short distance on unpaved road to pole number 8 on the left side! Napua is a short, dead-end street with very little traffic so it is ideal for those looking to enjoy the tranquility of nature; yet with the convenience of having access to electric power and phone service and almost all paved roads! A secondary access is possible from Hwy 130 using Pohaku Dr, (across from Shower Dr), then Pohaku Dr. up to 40th and make a right on 40th; then make a right on Napua. Pohaku Dr. is paved up to 39th; but is rather rough from 39th to 40th and 40th is a bit rough until the pavement starts. So by far using Olaa access is much better! If you want to hook up to HELCO, it is rather pricey, per the SSPP book it is $4,174! But no contract has been signed yet; and for that amount of money you could probably set up a nice solar system! It will be the buyer's choice when you are ready to develop the lot. Orchid Land is an improving subdivision with mandatory road maintenance fees and the roads are slowly getting better; so that this lot is easily accessed by mostly paved roads is a huge plus; especially if you have ever traveled on some of the other unpaved roads in Orchid Land, YIKES!
