This is a remote parcel but still close to Sitka. It’s located on the South and North sides of Long Island, about halfway down the length of the island. This is a large lot that has been improved with a cabin on the southern side of the property. The cabin's first floor is all one with kitchen on one end and living room on the other. A pull-down ladder accesses two loft areas. One has bunk beds and the other has space for a double bed. Rain water collection is on the roof. Water collection to the tank is not hooked up. An out building has a fish tote hot tub that's plumbed into a wood stove and a Bedford chemical toilet. The refrigerator and stove are propane. Like many remote Alaskan properties, owners need to be self-sufficient and provide their own water, sewer system, electricity, trails on the land, and in this case, anchorage.
