    Everyone likes to find a property that offers a unique opportunity. This property is one of those. The 31 +/- acres are made of open and wooded ready-to-be-certified organic land. The wooded hillside is filled with sugar maple trees. This north facing slope is an herbalists heaven with very good wild plant diversity. There is also a wide variety of apple trees and some birch. There is a 200 amp breaker box, a pressure tank with a self draining well system that makes coming and going during the colder months very easy when used as a second home. A telephone land line with DSL Internet has been installed. The sixteen foot ceiling accommodates the indoor basketball hoop. The land has not been hunted for at least six years, and draws deer, turkey and other wildlife. The seller has seen three bald eagles during his time of ownership. There is an additional 17 acres also available for sale. This property is located in the north eastern part of Vernon County. It is close to Ontario for canoeing the Kickapoo River, the Elroy-Sparta bike trail, and Wildcat Mountain state park. And as an extra plus...the taxes are low...the 2011 taxes were only $734!!
