It is a wonderful space but in the interests of transparency and saving everyone time I am first listing the limitations/concerns about the property. Some of these may be deal breakers for some people. Please read this very carefully before deciding if you are interested. 1: This is for a single person ONLY (we are on a septic system, well water and have only one place to park for a single vehicle) This is not negotiable. 2: No Pets 3: We are about 3 minutes from Hwy 17 and about 10 mins from Scotts Valley. If driving on Hwy 17 is an issue for you there is a lovely quiet creekside back road from Scotts Valley that takes 3-4 mins more than 17 4: We are on a gated paved private road that is about 1/2 mile long. It is quite steep and has 7 switch back turns. There are few houses, so it is rare to meet another car. But if you are a timid driver, this may not be the place for you. 5: There are about 20 stairs down to the studio from the parking area. This may not suit some people. 6: There are two large closets but this is the only built in storage. If you have a lot of stuff, then unless you have a storage locker, this may not be the place for you. The studio is about 500 sq ft with a huge deck (another 500 sq ft ) with unbelievable views of mountainous redwood forest and the sunset. It is quiet and very private. The location and views are stunning. It is very light, airy and warm. It has a gas fireplace/ stove that keeps it very cosy in winter and a mini split air conditioner for those hot days of summer. There is a good sized kitchen area with decent storage and counter space and generous closets (but not a lot of other storage). There can be Comcast cable with high speed internet available if you need it but will need to contact Xfinity to get it going. Water and electricity (within reason) are included and use of a washer/dryer. Gas is on a meter. Cell coverage is good ( both Verizon and ATT) We are about 15 mins from Santa Cruz, 18 mins from Los Gatos, 30 from San Jose and 60 mins from San Francisco airport. The studio in available now. We are looking for a long term tenant and require references, credit check, first, last and a security deposit. Owner pays, water, electric and garbage within reason. Propane use is metered. Shared use of washer/dryer in building. No smokers or loud music please! Dedicated parking space for one vehicle only. Minimum lease term 1 year. Long term tenant desirable.
