The cabin was built in 2004 and has a metal roof, wood burning stove, insulation, hand textured walls, solid surface floors, it is wired for electricity. The gas powered generator charges two marine batteries and the electricity will last about a day before recharging. Minimal solar panels will easily power the cabin as well. The cabin was built by area professionals, but no permits have been pulled. The trailer next to the cabin is covered by a protective awning and has a propane cooking stove, extra sleep spots, and two portable and refillable propane tanks. It is an older trailer, but is a helpful addition to the cabin. A Verizon cell tower is visible from the property and you will have no issues with internet service. Electricity is available at the property line. An easy 15 minute drive to Cripple Creek, and about 45 minutes to Woodland Park, you will not be far from restaurants, groceries, health care, and fun! A high clearance all wheel drive vehicle is highly recommended. From Highway 67 the property is roughly a two mile drive on dirt roads.
