If there was ever a small property that offered so much promise, this is definitely the property! Located in the ''Vergas Trails" north of Vergas and south of Detroit Lakes, this property consists of woods, water, rolling topography, a small creek, and a small wetland. When walking the property, I could not help but be excited at all the deer sign, from well-worn trails down to the dirt, to several massive scrapes and licking branches, to all the tracks and scat; it was impressive. It has two major pinch points, one running north and south and another running east and west, and the traffic these pinch points create is nothing short of spectacular. There is room to add food plots under the power line to supplement the acorns from the oaks and the food from neighbors' ag fields. The pond and creek provide water and also an opportunity to hunt waterfowl. This area is known for good numbers of deer and some dang good ones as well, but don't forget about the turkey, grouse, and even bear!
