MARKETplace Apartments offer a prime location at the corner of Holly Street and Railroad Avenue, close to Bellingham nightlife, WWU, dining, shopping, and entertainment. Built in 2003, the building features forty studio apartments, along with a few 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom units. Many apartments include private balconies. All units come with maple cabinetry, full kitchen appliances including a dishwasher, in-unit washer and dryer, ample closet space, and spacious bathrooms. The building offers a secure entrance with FOB access to all floors, basement bike storage, storage cages, a lobby with mailboxes, and an elevator. A $30 per month fee per occupant covers water, sewer, garbage, and recycling, while tenants are responsible for electricity, internet, phone, and Wi-Fi. No pets are allowed. Parking is available on a limited basis in the attached parking garage for $70-$82 per month. Fees include a $50 screening fee per applicant and renter's liability insurance at $13 per month (opt-out available with proof of coverage). A $250 holding deposit is required if the move-in date is more than 14 days after lease signing, deducted from the security deposit upon move-in, and non-refundable if applicants do not move in.
