The central location, is convenient to public transit. Walk or bike to most of the city. A bike shop, two blocks away, rents bikes. The neighborhood, known as Tower Grove South, is full of intact historic architecture, shops and excellent restaurants. Walkable is Garden Variety Sandwich Shop which cuts and vegetables are from a local farmer, a coffee house, tea room, grocery, fresh pizza, City Park Grill, Breakfast, A&M Cycle shop, Local Harvest Grocer, sandwhich shop, Hartford Coffee, Pizza, Hair salons, Massage & Spa, vintage shop, a Soccer-centric pub, and the running/biking trails in the park. The park also has tennis, basketball, and pickleball courts. A few blocks from historic Tower Grove Park which is a Level II arboretum with a bird sanctuary & Lily ponds in the summer.
