Landing at Avalon Dogpatch - Flexible Living

Dogpatch occupies San Francisco’s southeastern waterfront, where former industrial buildings, converted warehouses and newer housing meet the Bay. The area has a mild coastal climate, with cool breezes and frequent fog. The San Francisco Museum of Modern Art’s historic waterfront neighbor, the Museum of Craft and Design, anchors its arts offerings, while the waterfront and nearby Crane Cove Park provide open space, shoreline paths and places to pause outdoors. Dining and coffee options cluster along Third Street, and the neighborhood’s industrial history remains visible in its architecture and working harbor setting. Muni’s T Third Street line connects Dogpatch with downtown and other parts of the city; walking and cycling are also practical for local trips. For Dogpatch, the median rent is $5,831 per month, with a typical range of $1,850 to $15,000.
