My roommate and I are looking for one or two people to sublet our apartment to. It is a one bedroom, one bathroom upstairs apartment on J street at The Spokes. Its available for the 2020-2021 academic year, starting September 1st and ending the following year (although we are willing to be flexible). The apartment is a 15 minute walk from downtown Davis and is 1.5 miles from the UC Davis campus. The UniTrans E line bus stop is located right in front of the apartment which takes you to downtown Davis/Memorial Union. The L line is only 2 blocks down the street and takes you to the Silo on school campus. The unit is in a tranquil neighborhood with light to moderate street traffic. Grocery stores, such as SaveMart and Safeway, are about a mile and a half to two miles away (respectively). Amtrak is also only about a mile and a half from the apartment. WIFI is included, washer and dryer available on unit, and pool access. Other amenities include gym access and study room which are both near the leasing office. Also comes pre-furnished (cannot be removed) with basic furniture; this includes 2 beds in bedroom. Has a walk-in closet. Additionally, we are willing to leave some of home decor if you would prefer (i.e. dishes, silverware, pots, pans, shower curtain, decorative rug, lamp, toilet plunger, toilet brush). It is per roommate if you plan on sharing, or can be paid as a single. Utilities is not included (usually comes out to $30-$40/month per person). Additionally, there is a $350 transfer fee, however we ask you only contribute $100 to this (like a down payment). You have the option of paying for a parking spot which costs an additional $25 a month, yet there is usually on-street parking available. Pets not allowed. Bedroom is carpeted while dining, living room, kitchen, and bathroom areas are hardwood floor.
