This is a REAL neighborhood. Yes, their are a number of renter homes in the area. But there are also a number of long-term family owned homes. The mix gives it great character. People notice one another (and the traffic as well as unusual activity!), say hello, offer help, exchange food stuffs, and watch out their windows when exciting things like tree cutting is happening. It's nice to know you really CAN go borrow a cup of sugar from someone if needed!
