It's a basement apartment, but it receives a lot of light and has floor to ceiling windows plus access to a patio. There are nice woodsy walks nearby, and the area is great for biking. My son and I live upstairs, but you have a separate entrance and we are pretty quiet. When it's not summer, I work 8-4 every day, and he'll be a senior in high school. It's a 7 minute drive and a 30 minute walk to the downtown mall, and a 15 minute drive to UVA. Your utilities are included, but I request a one month deposit up front which will be returned to you after you leave. No smoking please. I prefer at least a 6 month lease, with a possibility of renewal.
