The apartment and the building are great. 5-minute walk to the Twinbrook Metro station, tons of space, competitive rate, and within walking distance to restaurants, bars, and retail. We moved less than a month ago, so it'll be in perfect condition. About the Apartment - The Alaire at Rockville, MD - Spacious two bedrooms & two baths. - $1950 a month / Signing a takeover lease up to August 19, 2022. - Deposit will depend on background check. - Storage is plentiful! A huge walk-in closet, coat closet, & linens closet. - Elevator - Washer and dryer in unit. - Juliet balcony. - Sunny apartment. - High ceilings. - Dishwasher, garbage disposal, fridge, microwave, stove/oven (the usual, and they work great). - Carpets and walls look like new since we just moved in. About the Building - 5-minute walk to the Twinbrook Metro Station - Gym, pool, game room, grills (Amenity fee waived) - Bike rooms (Free of charge) - Extra storage available for an additional fee - Downtown Beer and Wine, Green Bamboo, hair salon, Trek bike store on the first level of the buildings. About the Area Besides loving the space at the Alaire, the area has a great mix of city life and nature. There is so much to do! - Safeway: 7-minute walk or 4-minute car ride - Trader Joe's: 15-minute walk or 6-minute car ride - Congressional Plaza: 15-minute walk or 6-minute car ride (Bed Bath and Beyond, MatchBox Pizza, and other restaurants) - Montrose Crossing: 15-minute walk or 6 minute car ride (Target, Cava, Honeygrow, Slapfish, MOD Pizza, Five Guys, Chick-fil-A, Pablo's Garden, Giant, and more!) - Pike and Rose: 25-minute walk or an 8-minute car ride (Plenty of bars, restaurants, and retail) - Bike, hike, or drive to Lake Bernard Frank and Lake Needwood in Rock Creek Regional Park. Or go south towards DC through the Rock Creek Park trails. - Within driving distance, you could also check out Rockville's downtown for events and restaurants or drive up to Agricultural History Farm Park and Brookside Gardens, Wheaton Regional Park for a hike. We moved from DC, and we have absolutely loved living here because it's surprisingly walkable and near hiking. Also, neighbors are quiet and polite. Maintenance is responsive and solves problems. We are sad to leave the area because our new place is not as walkable. We moved here while looking for a house. We never truly unpacked, so we didn't show you the entire apartment because it has lots of boxes. However, we'll gladly show you the apartment in person and answer any questions. Also, the lease takeover paperwork will be done by The Alaire staff. Tenant pays electric, water, and internet. There is an extra $50 pet fee if you have a pet, and parking is available for $70 a month.
