    This is a beautiful, completely remodeled one bedroom apartment. The unit was completely gutted and remodeled about 10 years ago to a brand new level. It has lots of electric plugs, nice hardware, new bathroom, kitchen, windows, etc. It has a very light, airy feel with lots of windows and 9 foot ceilings. We just replaced all the blinds with brand new real wood blinds. We also installed a brand new in-unit laundry. Lastly, the unit also got a heat pump window unit for heating and cooling. The building is located on the corner of Jackson and Taylor streets in the prime part of Upper Nob Hill and only one block south of Russian Hill. It is ideal for walking to work, and only 5 blocks to North Beach. We have owned the building for about 25 years during which time we remodeled almost everything, including most of the apartments, all of the common areas including the basement, etc. The seismic retrofit has been completed and so has the fire alarm upgrade. There have been very substantial upgrades including restoration of the beautiful original plaster molding, restoration of hardwood floors in the entry, new lighting, etc. The lobby of the building is stunning, with beautiful plaster molding (with gold highlights), hardwood floors, an attractive paint scheme and new lighting. At the upper level lobbies I added additional plaster molding to extend the design theme of the lobby higher into the building. The particular apartment for rent is on the second floor (one floor above Taylor, but at the entry level on Jackson street). It has a nice kitchen with a new stainless steel appliance package and granite counters. The bathroom has very beautiful Spanish tile which extends to the ceiling. There is a large wall mirror. All of the plumbing has been upgraded with new drains and copper water supply pipes. All of the fixtures in the bathroom were replaced There are three closets. I would say the unit is medium in size at about 650 SF with a separate kitchen but no separate dining area. The unit has a hardwood floor, double glazed windows and low voltage recessed lighting. Wiring in the unit is all new with lots of electric plugs. The telephone and cable wiring is also new. There is a voice control intercom to the front door of the building. We will be replacing the intercom with a video to phone system this summer. I have one parking spot available for $400/mo. It is a secure covered spot. Utilities are not included. Water and Trash runs about $150/mo. Sonic internet (10 gbps fiber) runs $50/mo. PG&E will run about $50-$100/mo. I do not accept pets or smokers. Sorry. Thanks for your interest.
