    We purchased this house in 1986 from the original owner. The house has been well maintained and comes with many upgrades including electrical, cooling (central air), and heating. The 1st floor has beautiful oak hardwood flooring with perimeter inlay, high 9' ceilings with crown molding, valances custom built by the original owner, and a centrally located fireplace. The kitchen, pantry, and both bathrooms have ceramic tile floors. The upstairs full bathroom has a newly glazed tub and a new sink with vanity. The doors throughout the home are beautiful wood panel doors with antique glass handles and locks. The dining room has a beautiful built-in corner china cabinet, which also was hand-crafted by the original owner. The front porch is covered and a large deck on the back of the house, part of which is covered and screened-in, has lots of storage space underneath. The detached garage could make an excellent work shop. It is spacious (22'X25'), heated, has double pane windows, telephone service, 60 Amp, 220Volt Electric, lots of overhead lighting, lots of electrical outlets, and a "Genie" garage door opener. It also has a stand-up attic space for additional storage. Outside, surrounding the house are numerous azaleas. The backyard, although not fenced in, has a lot of privacy thanks to the surrounding shrubbery. The backyard also has a raised-bed garden for vegetables (or whatever you prefer) and a walk-in storage shed with potting table. Neighborhood Description This home is located in Catonsville's Summit Park, now on the National Registry of Historic Districts. This section of Catonsville is well established with many beautiful lots that have large, majestic trees and feels safe to take walks late at night. There are many friendly neighbors up and down the street, ranging from elderly folk to young families. The architecture of the houses in the neighborhood are almost all unique from one another which gives the neighborhood a lot of personality. The Catonsville public school system is also highly rated. Available Internet / entertainment services include fiber optic, DSL, cable, and satellite. Minutes from 695, I-95, I-83, I-70, BWI Airport, and downtown Baltimore, the neighborhood is well established and there little room for new construction in the immediate surrounding area.
