We will write in the lease that it's rent-controlled (i.e. we will never raise the lease prices on you during an active/current lease, regardless if you stay 1-year or 10 years; we also write in the lease that we will never sell the home while we are in an active lease with you). To secure the lease, we would request completion of an application and background check with a couple of reference checks via Zillow, and finally first month's rent ($2700) + a refundable security deposit of $2700. Once we near completion, a walk-through and meet and greet can be arranged; however, our current tenants are still in the property for one more month, so scheduling will be limited to be respectful of their time and space.
