Please Do Not Text Me! I have a house with a basement studio apartment located near the corner of Atwells and Dean on Federal Hill that I believe might fit your requirements. The apartment and house are described as follows: The apartment is a finished mother-in-law, with flagstone and brick walls, and has its own private entrance. It has a full shower/bath and a kitchenette with a stove including oven (w/ separate back-up room heater, if needed), refrigerator (under counter) and sink/counter/storage. It is an 1845 historic-plaque house (it still has a horse hitching post outside) centrally located on Federal Hill, two blocks away from access to I-95, I-195 and Rts. 10 and 6, within a block of Atwells and Broadway and 5 short old-city blocks from downtown. It is surprisingly quiet here as we are located on a side street off the main streets. As far as parking is concerned, there is all the off-street parking in the world. This location is right in the middle of Providences largest gourmet restaurant and specialty deli area and includes many bars and art galleries and other interesting things to do and see on both Atwells and Broadway. It is just a short walk to Providence's downtown nightclub area. There is a trolley-bus which runs every 20 mins., passing only 125 ft. away, which route services three supermarkets (two the best in RI), downtown, the East Side (Thayer), Fox Point (Wickenden) and, on the other end, Mt. Pleasant Av. and also services many colleges including Brown, RISD, RIC and JWU as well as the URI and Rogers Williams downtown campuses. The location is under 1 mile from the main quadrangle at Brown. Also in the basement there is a separate area w/ washer and dryer and then a large dry room for some storage. The apartment has gas heat (two vents from furnace) and there is a gas water heater (HEAT, ELEC. & Fios WiFi included in monthly rental charge). Fios Ultimate TV package (includes all channels plus all premium movie channels) would cost extra. The apartment rent is $650/mo. and the 1st mo. plus a security deposit would be required. Due to its small size and rustic state it is only suitable for one person (although I appreciate that you might have an overnight guest upon occasion).
