Housemate share an Historic House I have an Historic-plaque house with two 1800's period 12X14 rooms available located near the corner of Atwells and Dean on Federal Hill that I believe might fit your requirements. The rooms and house are described as follows: The housemate would have two 12X14 rooms one the Master bedroom on the second floor which has a fireplace and a 4X8 walk-in closet with hanging racks, drawers and shelves The housemate would share a full bath (w/ shower and separate tub) which connects with both bedrooms on either end. The other room, directly underneath the Master bedroom and connected by a private staircase, is the housemate's private living room, again with a fireplace and private outside door. The housemate would share a small dining room, a fully equipped shared kitchen including dishwasher and convection stove, a common living room and a separate lavatory room (Housemate has use of the entire 1st Fl) In the basement there is a separate area w/ washer and dryer and a large dry room for storage It is an 1845 historic-plaque house (it still has a horse hitching post outside) centrally located on Federal Hill, two blocks away from access to I-95, I-195 and Rts. 10 and 6, within a block of Atwells and Broadway and 5 short old-city blocks from downtown. It is surprisingly quiet here as we are located on a side street off the main streets. As far as parking is concerned, there is off-street parking available. This location is right in the middle of Providences largest gourmet restaurant and specialty deli area and includes many bars and art galleries and other interesting things to do and see on both Atwells and Broadway. It is just a short walk to Providence's downtown nightclub area. There is a trolley-bus which runs every 20 mins., passing only 125 ft. away, which route services three supermarkets (two the best in RI), downtown, the East Side (Thayer), Fox Point (Wickenden) and, on the other end, Mt. Pleasant Av. and also services many colleges including Brown, RISD, RIC and JWU as well as the URI and Rogers Williams downtown campuses. The location is under 1 mile from the main quadrangle at Brown. The house has separate zoned gas heat and a gas water heater. HEAT & ELEC. And FIOS WiFi and all utilities included in rent. There is off-street parking available. The housemate's rent is $800/mo. and the 1st mo. plus a security deposit would be required. (Utilities Included in Rent). This space is only suitable for one person. It is only suitable for one person (although I appreciate that you might have an overnight guest upon occasion).
