A National Register of Historic residence built in the 1860's and completely restored in 2021. This 3,901 square foot home has been completely re-envisioned from its historical roots with an additional 2,650 square footage added to the original 1,251 square feet. The residence is part of a series of matching historical structures. The one-story brick home has a separate entrance porch, hoods over the doors and the one-over-one light windows. The rooms of the original structure wrap around a side porch in the form of a "C." The entry, located at the lower leg of the "C" also opens onto the side porch. This allows the porch to be used also as a hall leading to the rear rooms of the house, a feature lacking in most shotgun floor plans. The home was part of a large nomination of National Register of Historic Places in 1979 in the historic Germantown neighborhood of Nashville.
