Central air conditioning and whole home ventilation keep it comfortable and the air clean year round. A two car garage plus driveway means covered parking and room for guests. St. Charles Bend and the Summit Health campus are 4.5 miles east, 12 to 15 minutes on city streets. Downtown Bend, Drake Park, and the Deschutes River Trail are a mile and a half east, and the Old Mill District is close behind. You can walk to breakfast. The Victorian Cafe is twelve minutes on foot and Sparrow Bakery in NorthWest Crossing is about twenty. Newport Avenue Market, the west side's independent grocer, is half a mile away. For time outside, Shevlin Park and Phil's Trailhead are eight minutes west and Mt. Bachelor is under thirty. Tumalo Falls, and Smith Rock are easy day trips.
