This historic craftsman style cottage home was built in 1908 with most of the original woodwork and etched glass. The pine floors are in great shape and are found in every room but the Kitchen and bathrooms. High ceilings and large rooms give the home a very spacious feeling. The beautiful oak in the front yards adds to the charm and classic look of the home. The two fireplaces are original and are great focal points in the house. There have been a number of updates in the home including electrical, plumbing, double hung storm windows, as well as, kitchen and bath updates. The backyard has a large open deck great for entertaining and enjoying the above ground pool. The house is located close to downtown, schools, churches, restaurants, shopping and many are within walking distance. The is a possibility the property at some point could be changed from R-1 to R-2 zoning allowing office type businesses - this would require re-zoing by the City of Pensacola. Neighborhood Description East Hill is a great neighborhood. My kids have thanked me for raising them here. It's centrally located, the beach is about 20 minutes away; downtown and the mall are about 10 minutes away in opposite directions. It's a wonderful walking neighborhood with great old houses and lovely flowers. The dog park is 3/4 of a mile down the road and there is a restaurant 2 blocks away. There is a park with a playground in the next block and I am located right next to Cook School which is magnet school. NAS Pensacola is 20 minutes away.
